Contribution Limits
- Individuals may contribute up to $1,000
- Couples may contribute up to $2,000
- Political Action Committees (PACs) may contribute up to $2,500
- Corporate contributions are prohibited under Texas law.
(Texas Election Code § 253.094: “A corporation or labor organization may not make a political contribution or political expenditure that is not authorized by this subchapter.”)
All contributions must be made using personal or PAC funds. Contributions are not tax-deductible. Donors must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
